Terms of service

The agreement between your business and Omnitron Pte. Ltd. when you use ONITA. Effective 15 September 2026.

What ONITA is

ONITA is an AI assistant that answers your business’s phone calls, on a line you forward to her or on her own number. Depending on what you switch on, she answers questions about your business, takes bookings, takes phone orders when your till or your team will see them in time, takes messages and collects enquiries.

Putting callers through to your team, and calls she makes herself, such as booking reminders, are coming soon. They cannot be switched on yet.

ONITA is provided by Omnitron Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202606037D), a Singapore company (“we”). You agree to these terms on behalf of your business when you tick the box at the end of setup. If you are setting up ONITA for someone else, you confirm you are allowed to.

Your account

  • Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what is done under your account.
  • Give us accurate business information. She tells callers what you tell her.
  • You may add team members. They act for your business under these terms.

She is an AI, and she can be wrong

ONITA understands speech and speaks back using AI models. She is good, and she is not perfect. She may mishear a name, a time or an item, especially over a poor line or with heavy background noise. Every booking, order, enquiry and message she takes is shown to you on your dashboard so you can check it. You are responsible for reviewing what she records and for what your business does with it. We are not responsible for a wrong booking or order that you had the chance to check.

She tells every caller at the start of the call that she is an AI assistant, and that the call is recorded. She does not give medical, legal or financial advice, and she does not make promises on your behalf beyond what you have told her she may do.

Using her properly

  • Only forward lines you are entitled to forward, and only for lawful business purposes.
  • Use what callers tell her only to serve them. Do not use their details for marketing unless they have agreed to it. ONITA does not place marketing calls.
  • Do not try to make her impersonate a person, mislead callers, or say things that would be unlawful if you said them.
  • Do not probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

We may suspend a line that is being used in breach of this section, and will tell you why.

Your free trial

A new business gets 10 days free. ONITA answers your calls only while your free trial or a paid plan is active.

While we are not yet taking card payments, no card is needed and nothing is charged, and your trial carries on. Before card payments start we tell you, and you have at least 3 days to add a card before ONITA stops answering.

Once we take card payments, you add a card to start or keep your trial. In a separate box you agree to your plan’s price per location a month and the date of the first charge: the day your free days run out, which is day 11 for a new business. You are charged on that date unless you cancel before then in Business → Billing. We remind you 3 days before it. A business that has already used its free days is charged from the day it adds a card.

Fees

All prices are in Singapore dollars (S$). GST is not charged while Omnitron Pte. Ltd. is not registered for GST.

Paid plans are priced per location per month, as published on our pricing page or as agreed with you in writing, and are billed monthly in advance by card through Stripe until cancelled. Each plan includes a number of answered minutes. Minutes beyond that, outside your free trial, are billed on your next monthly invoice at the plan’s published per-minute rate.

Phone orders are paid at the counter unless we have switched on taking payment for your business. On an order ONITA takes payment for, our commission is 5% of the items ordered, never of delivery fees or deposits. The payment goes to your own payment account; our commission is deducted when the payment provider pays you, or added to your monthly invoice. The payment provider’s own fees are yours.

Prices may change with 30 days’ notice by email. If a change is not acceptable you may cancel before it takes effect.

Phone numbers and forwarding

We give each location an ONITA number in its own country. You can forward your existing line to it, or use it as your business’s number.

The ONITA number belongs to us. If your plan ends, we hold it for you for 30 days. After that it is released, and callers can no longer reach you on it. If you give callers the ONITA number as your own, plan for that before you cancel.

Your carrier may charge you for call forwarding; that charge is between you and your carrier. We are not responsible for your carrier’s forwarding failing or being switched off.

Your data and your callers’ data

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

For your callers’ personal data, your business is the organisation under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act, and we are your data intermediary: we process it only to run ONITA for you, through the providers listed in the privacy policy.

  • Export: email hello@onita.tech and we send you your bookings, orders, enquiries, messages and call records as spreadsheet files within 14 days.
  • Deletion: we delete your data within 90 days of your account closing, or sooner if you ask.
  • Breaches: if your data may have been lost, stolen or seen by someone who should not have it, we tell you without undue delay, and help you decide whether the Personal Data Protection Commission and the people affected must be told.

Connected tools

You may connect ONITA to your till, booking or calendar tools. You must be entitled to grant that access. We use it only to do what you have switched on. Those tools have their own terms, and if one of them changes or fails we will tell you but cannot guarantee it keeps working.

Availability

We aim to keep ONITA answering around the clock and we monitor her closely. Phone networks, AI providers and hosting can fail, and we cannot promise uninterrupted service. If you forward all your calls to her and she cannot answer, those calls do not ring on your own line instead. We will credit you for material outages caused by us.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event. We are not liable for lost profits, lost bookings, or indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time in Business → Billing, or by emailing us. A paid plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. We can end the agreement with 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you break these terms in a way that harms callers, other customers or us. Either way, ask us for an export of your data before you go.

The rest

These terms are governed by Singapore law and any dispute goes to the Singapore courts. If part of these terms is unenforceable the rest still applies. We may update these terms; changes that matter are announced by email 30 days ahead, and the date at the top changes with them. Questions: hello@onita.tech.
